Bridges Pavement Solutions, Inc. is established to act as an independent contractor in the promotion of sales and the solicitation of orders for products and construction services of manufacturers/principals, and provide consulting services.

Our activities are conducted primarily in: asphalt modification technology for the paving, roofing, and specialty asphalt industries utilizing a specific reactive polymer + GTR; manufacture and installation of defensive and decorative epoxy coating systems to create impervious barriers on rigid/semi-rigid surfaces in harsh environments such as correctional facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biological/life sciences, food & beverage, surgical suites, and research facilities; design, manufacture, and distribution of “Green”, high-performance, high-early strength, rapid-return to service cements/concretes for construction, repair and rehabilitation of surface transportation, structures, heavy industry, etc.; concrete/asphalt reinforcing fibers; infrastructural coatings for steel/galvanized structures, transportation, oil & gas, marine, specialty OEM, general industrial and maintenance coating applications.

History

Gene Bridges has served in the Texas, and various other states, surface transportation industry since 1978, working in purchasing, marketing, and reselling asphaltic paving materials and specialty products. From 1993 to 2004 Bridges owned and operated an asphalt supply company, and also owned/operated a specialty application company from 1997 to 2004. His primary interests since the mid ‘90s have been the development of technology-based niche markets for specialty materials and services.

His experience also includes:

• Recycled ground-tire rubber and polymer modification of asphaltic materials

Our mission is to build working relationships with the manufacturer/service provider community and the purchasing sectors of the various related asphalt based industries, and specialty construction trades, so that we may strategically provide the most cost-effective products and services that meets the buyers’ needs, and that are within their financial parameters.

Our goal is for each manufacturer/service provider to think of Bridges when they consider taking a product or service to the surface transportation and asphalt-based markets, high-performance interior coatings market, cement and concrete market, and infrastructural coatings market; as well as each end user to think of us when contemplating a purchase.

The plan for achieving our goals draws on experience - since 1978 Gene Bridges has employed long-established industry contacts, relationships, and the latest tools to bring the best products/services to the buyer. We will employ our “systems expertise”, and maintain compatible – complimentary product lines, not just exhibit product competence. We will use our “consultative selling” skill and provide alternate solutions.

Due to the high costs of hiring, training, and funding in-house, full-time sales representatives, it is more profitable to outsource most of the professional field sales function.
